Object of the day
Manhole Cover photo challenge
A manhole cover is a heavy iron disc in the road, covered in a pattern and a name that few people ever read.

How to shoot it
- Stand over it and shoot straight down, so the round shape and the grid of its pattern fill the frame.
- Fill the frame with the raised letters or logo, where the cast metal is worn smooth by tyres.
- Shoot after rain, when water sits in the grooves and the dark iron shines against the dry road around it.
How the object of the day works
Every day, everyone on Rawly gets the same everyday object at the same moment. You shoot it live in the app: no gallery, no filters. Then the community votes, and the shots with the most votes from other people win the day.
