How earning works, what happens to your money, how private your messages are, and what to do if something goes wrong. The short version lives on the homepage.
Earning and money
Challenges, Jeton and withdrawals
Anyone. Enter a challenge, win the community vote, get paid. No followers needed, no creator badge required. Winners keep 75% of every standard challenge pool, so winning a 1,000 Token challenge pays 750 Jeton, which you can withdraw to your bank account. Voters share 10%. Actual earnings depend on challenge outcomes. See the full earnings overview.
Score and rewards are separate. Score is your reputation, earned only through activity and never bought. Rewards use two currencies: Token, which you buy to fund challenges, and Jeton, which you earn by winning challenges and voting, and can cash out through our web portal. See the full explainer.
Brands post sponsored photo challenges with a Token-funded prize pool. People submit live, unedited photos that meet the brief, and the community votes on the winners. The brand gets authentic photos, winners share 50% of the pool and voters share 30%. There are no banner ads: a brand challenge is something you join, not something that interrupts you.
Yes. Joining and using Rawly is free, forever. You earn Jeton by winning challenges and voting. If you want to start a challenge, you fund it with Token. Earning is always free.
Minimum: 500 Jeton. Maximum per request: 5,000 Jeton. Monthly cap: 10,000 Jeton, with up to 2 requests a month and 1 a day. Your first withdrawal needs identity verification through Stripe. Rawly charges no withdrawal fee; Stripe's processing fee is shown before you confirm. Withdrawals are made through the web portal, not inside the app.
Rawly's rank system, the Cursus Honorum, runs from Plebs through Quaestor, Aedile, Praetor and Consul to Censor. Higher ranks carry more weight in community votes. Ranks are earned through activity, challenge participation and Jeton volume, and can never be bought.
Yes. You can send bounty challenges and challenge invites directly in chat. Your friend gets notified and can accept or decline from the conversation. The same authenticity rules apply to all challenge photos.
The app
Access, cameras and devices
Rawly has no algorithm, no advertising, and no curated feed. What rises is what the community voted for, not what an engagement model picked. There are no filters and no gallery uploads, and you don't need followers to win. The main feed is chronological.
Right now, yes. Download Rawly from the App Store or Google Play and sign up. No invite code is needed.
Founding spots belong to Rawly's first wave of members, and anyone who joins now is part of it. Founding members keep that status as Rawly grows. Founding spots are limited.
Native iOS and Android, both live now on the App Store and Google Play. There is no web app: the in-app camera makes Rawly mobile-only by design.
Rawly is available worldwide on iOS and Android, and Jeton withdrawals go to your bank account. Rawly is registered in Estonia (EU) and is GDPR-compliant.
Rawly still works. Phones without a dual-camera system use a single-camera fallback, and the same rules apply: live capture only, no gallery uploads, no filters. You get every feature.
Privacy and your account
Messages, visibility and deleting your account
Rawly's messaging follows the Signal protocol design: X3DH key agreement and the Double Ratchet, built on X25519 and AES-256-GCM. Keys are created on your phone and never reach our servers, and text, photos and voice notes have forward secrecy. Burn Protocol is optional: turn it on and messages disappear 10 seconds after they are read.
You have options. Switch to a private account and your posts only appear to people you approve. Turn on ghost mode and you take part under a nickname, while your real profile stays hidden. Or create a private challenge for one friend: no public feed, no public vote. You control how visible you are.
You can permanently delete your account at any time in Settings. Your profile, posts and messages are erased. Token and Jeton balances are forfeited, so withdraw your Jeton first and spend or gift your Token. We keep only the payment records the law requires.
