What European means here
- Where the company sits. In the EU, or in the United Kingdom, Switzerland or Norway, marked as such.
- Not always where the data sits. Some of these apps use servers or providers outside Europe for parts of the service. Each app's privacy policy says which.
- Federated apps have many servers. Mastodon, PeerTube and Pixelfed servers are run by many people, inside and outside Europe.
Rawly, plainly
- Made in Estonia. Rawly OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia.
- Servers in Germany. The servers and the database run in Germany, and content is delivered through a network based in Slovenia.
- Some US providers. Some services come from US providers, such as Google Firebase for push notifications, crash reports and app analytics. The privacy policy lists every provider.
- No ad slots, private chats. There are no ad slots in the feed. Brand challenges are marked as sponsored and can be hidden. Direct messages and group chats are end-to-end encrypted. Rawly is for people 18 and over.
Checked on each company's own pages in November 2026. Details change, so check before you switch. All names and trademarks belong to their owners; Rawly is not affiliated with any of the other apps.
